PURPOE: To document progreive growth of a benign iri melanocytoma. METHOD: Interventional cae report. A 9-year-old male underwent removal of a pigmented iri tumor that had been documented photographically to double in ize. REULT: Hitopathologic ection revealed a deeply pigmented ma with cytologic feature typical of a melanocytoma. CONCLUION: Although iri melanocytoma i generally a tationary leion, it can how progreive growth. uch enlargement doe not necearily imply malignant tranformation of the leion
