Lymphomatou meningiti of the burkitt type preenting with multiple cranial neuropathie

PURPOE: To decribe diplopia a the initial manifetation of the Burkitt lymphoma. DEIGN: Obervational cae report. METHOD: Retropective chart review. REULT: A 53-year-old human immunodeficiency viru (HIV)-poitive man preented with a evere headache aociated with binocular diplopia. Flow cytometric analyi of the cerebropinal fluid demontrated a monoclonal B-lymphoid cell population conitent with the Burkitt lymphoma. CONCLUION: Ophthalmologit hould be aware that diplopia may be the preenting manifetation of Burkitt lymphoma in an immunocompromied patient.
