Acute poterior multifocal placoid pigment epitheliopathy and cleriti in a patient with pANCA-poitive ytemic vaculiti

PURPOE: To preent acute poterior multifocal placoid pigment epitheliopathy and cleriti occurring in aociation with pANCA (perinuclear antineutrophil cytoplamic antibody)-poitive ytemic vaculiti. DEIGN: Interventional cae report. METHOD: A 69-year-old woman developed bilateral acute poterior multifocal placoid pigment epitheliopathy concurrent with rapidly progreive glomerulonephriti and bronchioalveoliti in both lung. REULT: The patient howed a high titer of pANCA (myeloperoxidae-ANCA). he then developed cleriti in the left eye and multiple gatric ulcer. CONCLUION: Acute poterior multifocal placoid pigment epitheliopathy and cleriti in thi patient are manifetation that are part of pANCA-poitive ytemic vaculiti. Thi aociation further upport that acute poterior multifocal placoid pigment epitheliopathy i caued by vaculitic inflammation of the choriocapillari.
