An adjutable-tip bruh for the induction of poterior hyaloid eparation and epiretinal membrane peeling

PURPOE: To report a new adjutable-tip bruh for induction of poterior hyaloid eparation and epiretinal membrane peeling. DEIGN: Obervational report. METHOD: The adjutable-tip bruh made of 10-0 nylon wa ued during vitrectomy for a variety of vitreoretinal diorder to induce poterior vitreou detachment and to peel internal limiting membrane or epiretinal membrane. REULT: The intrument wa epecially effective in inducing poterior vitreou detachment in eye with chronic peudophakic macular edema and diabetic macular edema. It wa ued uccefully to trip thin, immature epiretinal membrane and to unfold rolled edge of giant retinal tear. No complication were aociated with the ue of the adjutable-tip bruh. CONCLUION: The adjutable-tip bruh wa ueful for poterior hyaloid eparation and epiretinal membrane peeling during vitrectomy for a variety of vitreoretinal procedure.
