Gabapentin attenuate uperior oblique myokymia

PURPOE: To invetigate therapeutic effect of oral gabapentin therapy on uperior oblique myokymia. DEIGN: Obervational cae erie with meaurement of viual acuity and eye movement before, during, and after therapy. METHOD: Two adult patient with uperior oblique myokymia, refractory to other therapie, were treated with gabapentin orally after informed conent wa obtained. Eye movement were meaured uing the magnetic earch coil technique. REULT: uperior oblique myokymia completely reolved after tarting gabapentin.
