Viualization of conjunctival cyt by indocyanine green

PURPOE: To report complete removal of conjunctival cyt uing indocyanine green olution to facilitate viualization. DEIGN: Interventional cae report. METHOD: A 71-year-old woman referred with the diagnoi of evere conjunctival chemoi of her right eye of everal month’ duration wa found to have a large conjunctival cyt. After informed conent wa obtained, urgical reection of the cyt wa performed. REULT: Under topical anetheia, indocyanine green olution wa injected through a 27-gauge needle into the conjunctival cyt. Thi achieved excellent viualization of the cyt outline and facilitated complete reection. During the reection, taining of the cyt wall remained depite a mall perforation in the capule, and complete reection wa achieved without difficulty. CONCLUION: Injection of indocyanine green olution into a conjunctival cyt may be ued to facilitate viualization and aid in complete reection of the cyt wall.
