Abstract :
PURPOE: To report a cae of rheumatoid hypervicoity yndrome involving both retinal and choroidal circulation that reolved after treatment.
DEIGN: Interventional cae report.
METHOD: A 58-year-old woman with clinical and erologic evidence of an inflammatory connective tiue dieae without any viual complaint wa referred for a funducopic evaluation.
REULT: Funducopic examination revealed marked dilation and beading of the venou ytem, microaneurym, and telangiectatic capillary bed in the poterior pole. Fluorecein angiography dicloed delayed choroidal filling, prolonged arteriovenou tranit time, and area of capillary nonperfuion. Thee finding were accompanied by a evere polyclonal hypergammaglobulinemia and a 10-fold increae in erum vicoity. The ocular finding were reverible after plamapherei and teroid treatment.
CONCLUION: Rheumatoid hypervicoity yndrome can involve both retinal and choroidal circulation. The prominent microvaculopathy i reverible after appropriate treatment
