Purpoe To report a penetrating corneal tranplant in which there wa inadvertent inverion of the corneal button. Deign Interventional cae report. Method A 48-year-old man with lattice corneal dytrophy had a third penetrating keratoplaty in the right eye 3 year after the econd procedure and 2 year following renal tranplantation. Reult Hitologic examination of the corneal button from the econd penetrating keratoplaty dicloed inadvertent corneal graft inverion. urvival epithelium from the donor in the anterior chamber may be explained by the ocular anterior chamber–aociated immune deviation or by the patient’ ytemic cycloporine A (CA) treatment after renal tranplantation. Concluion Hitologically proven corneal button inverion i a rare caue of corneal graft failure.
