Viual field indexe for verion 3.0 of frequency doubling perimetry in patient with glaucoma

Purpoe A new verion of frequency doubling perimetry wa compared to a former verion in patient with glaucoma. Deign Propective obervational tudy. Method Thirty-two patient with glaucoma were examined twice equentially in one eye with threhold c-20 of frequency doubling perimetry verion 2.6. Within 3 month, the ame eye wa again examined twice equentially, thi time uing the new verion 3.0. Mean deviation, pattern tandard deviation, hort-term fluctuation, intraocular preure at examination, and tet duration were compared between verion. Reult No ignificant difference wa found in mean deviation, pattern tandard deviation, intraocular preure, or hort-term fluctuation between verion. Verion 3.0 took le time to perform the threhold tet than did verion 2.6. Concluion Verion 3.0 of the frequency doubling perimetry program took le time to perform and howed imilar value of viual field indexe when compared with verion 2.6.
