Abstract
Purpoe
To report the reult of retinal endovacular urgery and intravitreal triamcinolone acetonide on two eye of two patient younger than 40 year of age with central vein occluion.
Deign
Interventional cae report from a tudy approved by the Intitutional Review Board of North Broward Medical Center, Pompano Beach, Florida.
Method
Two men, age 37 and 39, with unilateral central vein occluion were treated with retinal endovacular urgery and intravitreal triamcinolone acetonide. The main outcome meaure wa recovery of viual acuity.
Reult
One patient recovered 8 line of viual acuity, the other recovered 11 line. There wa rapid clearance of intraretinal hemorrhage and edema in both cae.
Concluion
Retinal endovacular urgery and intravitreal triamcinolone acetonide may promote recovery of viual acuity in eye of young adult with central vein occluion.
