urgery for ubfoveal choroidal neovacularization in toxoplamic retinochoroiditi

Purpoe To report a cae of ubfoveal choroidal neovacularization in a patient with toxoplamic retinochoroiditi who underwent urgical exciion. Deign Interventional cae report. Method A 36-year-old woman with toxoplamic retinochoroiditi preented with udden dimne of viion and metamorphopia in the left eye. The patient wa examined with ophthalmocopy and fluorecein angiography. Reult Fundu examination and fluorecein angiography of the left eye revealed a ubfoveal choroidal neovacularization. Par plana vitrectomy with ubmacular urgery wa performed, with a potoperative improvement of viual acuity and reolution of the ditortion. Concluion Thi cae report decribe a cae of ubfoveal choroidal neovacularization aociated with toxoplamic retinochoroiditi that reponded remarkably well to vitrectomy urgery.
