Ehrlichioi optic neuriti

Purpoe To decribe a cae of ehrlichioi optic neuriti. Deign ingle obervational cae report. Method A 41-year-old woman with ymptom and clinical and imaging ign conitent with optic neuriti preented to a tertiary care academic center for comprehenive neuro-ophthalmic evaluation. Main outcome meaure included preoptic and potoptic neuriti polyvalent ehrlichioi titer and magnetic reonance imaging (MRI) of orbit with gadolinium. Reult Ehrlichioi titer drawn 11 day before onet of eye ymptom were negative. Titer drawn 7 day after ymptom began were poitive. The optic nerve enhanced with gadolinium on MRI. Concluion Ehrlichioi can caue optic neuriti and hould be conidered in patient with optic neuriti after a febrile, flu-like illne in an endemic area.
