Abnormalitie of canning laer polarimetry aociated with pituitary adenoma

Purpoe To report abnormalitie of retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL) thickne uing canning laer polarimetry in patient with pituitary adenoma. Deign Obervational cae report. Method Two patient with pituitary adenoma who had bitemporal viual field abnormalitie were examined uing canning laer polarimetry. Reult In Cae 1, detruction of the normal two-peak pattern in the RNFL thickne wa een naally by canning laer polarimetry; thi RNFL pattern correponded well to viual field abnormalitie. In Cae 2, abnormalitie in the RNFL pattern correponded well to viual field defect not only in the uperotemporal field but alo in the inferotemporal field where the viual field defect were mild. Concluion Meaurement of RNFL thickne uing canning laer polarimetry provide ueful information in the diagnoi of chiamal leion uch a pituitary adenoma.
