Unilateral leukocoria in off axi flah photograph of normal eye

Purpoe To decribe an optical phenomenon producing leukocoria in off axi flah photograph of children who have a normal ophthalmic examination. Deign Obervational cae erie. Method Decription of three otherwie well children who preented to a pediatric ophthalmologit with unilateral leukocoria een in flah photograph. The children underwent a full ophthalmic examination, including dilated fundu examination. Reult All ophthalmic examination were normal. The photograph were all found to be approximately 15 degree off axi with the leukocoria een in the eye where the flah illuminated the naal retina. Concluion Leukocoria can be een in normal eye when the child i not fixing directly on the camera. That i due to reflection off the optic nerve head.
