Conecutive choroidal melanoma in the ame eye of a patient

Purpoe To report the occurrence of two entirely eparate choroidal melanoma in the ame eye of one patient. Deign Obervational cae report. Method Retropective cae report from one clinical practice. Two choroidal melanoma were oberved to develop in the ame eye of one patient. Reult An inferonaal choroidal melanoma wa diagnoed in the left eye of a 30-year-old woman in 1990. Thi wa uccefully treated with proton beam radiotherapy. In 1996, a uperotemporal choroidal tumor in the ame eye wa oberved to grow rapidly and it wa treated with a ruthenium plaque in 1996. There wa a hitory of cutaneou malignant melanoma. Concluion It i extremely rare for two choroidal melanoma to develop in one eye, and there may be a genetic predipoition.
