Method Four patient with choroidal melanoma who howed recurrence or no repone after previou brachytherapy and tranpupillary thermotherapy were treated with photodynamic therapy. Reult One tumor decreaed in ize and remained table for 18 month. One tumor had no growth for 11 month. Two melanoma continued to grow, neceitating enucleation. Concluion Of the four eye that had failed conventional therapie, two would have been alvaged (to date) with photodynamic therapy. However, additional tudie are needed to determine if photodynamic therapy can play a role in the management of choroidal melanoma.
