Optical coherence tomography finding in nicotinic acid maculopathy

Purpoe To report optical coherence tomography finding in nicotinic acid maculopathy. Deign Obervational cae report. Method The patient wa examined with ophthalmocopy, fluorecein angiography, and optical coherence tomography. Reult A 71-year-old man preented with bilateral decreaed viual acuity with metamorphopia. Optical coherence tomography demontrated cytoid pace in the outer plexiform layer and inner nuclear layer. Fluorecein angiography did not how leakage. Two week after topping the nicotinic acid, the cytoid pace reolved. Concluion Niacin maculopathy caue cytoid pace in the inner nuclear and outer plexiform layer that reolve with dicontinuation of the drug.
