Choroidal neovacular membrane aociated with optic nerve coloboma in a patient with CHARGE aociation

Purpoe To report a patient with CHARGE aociation (coloboma, heart dieae, choanal atreia, growth retardation, genital hypoplaia, and ear abnormalitie) who developed a choroidal neovacular membrane in aociation with an optic nerve coloboma. Deign Interventional/obervational cae report. Method A 21-month-old boy with CHARGE aociation developed a grayih choroidal neovacular membrane aociated with lipid exudation, ubretinal fluid, and retinal hemorrhage at the temporal edge of hi right optic nerve coloboma. Reult The patient underwent tranpupillary diode laer of the choroidal neovacular membrane. Five month later, it and the erou retinal detachment had reolved. Concluion Patient with CHARGE aociation may develop choroidal neovacular membrane with erou retinal detachment in aociation with optic nerve coloboma. Thee neovacular membrane may be treated uccefully with tranpupillary diode laer.
