Vitrectomy with internal limiting membrane peeling for macular retinochii and retinal detachment without macular hole in highly myopic eye

Purpoe To report anatomic and viual improvement following vitrectomy with internal limiting membrane (ILM) peeling for two highly myopic patient with retinochii and/or retinal detachment without a macular hole. Deign Two interventional cae report. Method Two highly myopic patient who had retinochii and/or retinal detachment without a full-thickne macular hole underwent vitrectomy, internal limiting membrane peeling, and long-acting ga injection. Main outcome meaure included bet-corrected viual acuity, biomicrocopic appearance, and optical coherent tomography finding. Reult Vitrectomy with ILM peeling reult in biomicrocopic, functional, and tomographic improvement in both patient, for follow-up period of 12 month and 8 month, repectively. Concluion Vitrectomy with ILM peeling and ga tamponade i an effective method for retinochii and/or retinal detachment without a macular hole in highly myopic patient.
