Abstract
Purpoe
To report anatomic and viual improvement following vitrectomy with internal limiting membrane (ILM) peeling for two highly myopic patient with retinochii and/or retinal detachment without a macular hole.
Deign
Two interventional cae report.
Method
Two highly myopic patient who had retinochii and/or retinal detachment without a full-thickne macular hole underwent vitrectomy, internal limiting membrane peeling, and long-acting ga injection. Main outcome meaure included bet-corrected viual acuity, biomicrocopic appearance, and optical coherent tomography finding.
Reult
Vitrectomy with ILM peeling reult in biomicrocopic, functional, and tomographic improvement in both patient, for follow-up period of 12 month and 8 month, repectively.
Concluion
Vitrectomy with ILM peeling and ga tamponade i an effective method for retinochii and/or retinal detachment without a macular hole in highly myopic patient.
