ubluxation of trancleral utured poterior chamber intraocular len (TIOL)

Purpoe To evaluate factor related to late-onet trancleral utured poterior chamber intraocular len (TIOL) ubluxation. Method Retropective obervational cae erie. Analyi of ubluxated TIOL in even eye from even patient treated between May 1999 and May 2001. Reult Mean age at the time of TIOL urgery wa 33 ± 6 year. Mean time from TIOL urgery to it ubluxation wa 78 ± 19 month. Initial diagnoe requiring TIOL urgerie were previou hitory of trauma and Marfan yndrome. ubluxation of TIOL wa aociated with blunt trauma in three eye, wherea the other four eye experienced pontaneou len dilocation. Concluion ubluxation of TIOL i not uncommon in younger patient with hitory of trauma or Marfan yndrome
