Conjunctival ulceration following triamcinolone injection

Purpoe To report conjunctival ulceration a a complication of periocular triamcinolone acetonide injection. Deign Interventional cae erie. Method Conjunctival ulceration wa found in three patient who had anterior ubtenon’ or ubconjunctival depoition of triamcinolone. Culture from the ulcer edge were negative. Reult Mot of the triamcinolone extruded, and the conjunctival ulcer healed with minimal carring. Concluion Conjunctival ulceration wa a potential complication of periocular triamcinolone injection in three patient who had anterior ubtenon’ or ubconjunctival depoition of the corticoteroid.
