Abstract :
Purpoe
To report microvacular retinopathy after percutaneou tranluminal coronary angioplaty and tent inertion for acute myocardial infarction.
Deign
Obervational cae erie.
Method
Retropective review of even patient with a retinal microangiopathy following coronary catheterization, angioplaty, and tent placement.
Reult
All patient had bilateral cotton–wool pot in peripapillary ditribution; four alo had retinal hemorrhage in both eye. None complained of viual ymptom. Leion reolved pontaneouly within everal month in ix patient.
Concluion
Although angioplaty and tent placement are le invaive than cardiac urgery, they appear to caue a retinopathy imilar to potpump retinopathy.
