Abstract :
Purpoe
To report confocal microcopic obervation of rabbit corneal epithelium through amniotic membrane patch (AMP).
Deign
Experimental tudy.
Method
ix rabbit eye were patched by amniotic membrane. Then, white-light and laer confocal microcopic obervation wa performed.
Reult
Image of human amniotic epithelium, amniotic baement membrane, and amniotic troma were obtained uing both device, followed by detection of rabbit corneal epithelium.
Concluion
Thi tudy indicate that obervation of corneal epithelium through AMP i poible in rabbit eye uing both thee method. Thi implie that both device might be ued clinically to oberve the epithelial healing proce under an AMP to better determine when it hould be removed.
