Method A 61-year-old woman preented with ubfoveal choroidal neovacularization econdary to choroidal nevu and bet-corrected viual acuity of 20/50. The choroidal neovacularization wa treated with two verteporfin photodynamic therapy eion, eparated by 3 month. Reult The choroidal neovacularization wa occluded after two eion. Bet-corrected viual acuity improved to 20/25 and remained table throughout an 18-month follow-up. Concluion Photodynamic therapy eem to be an effective treatment for ubfoveal choroidal neovacularization econdary to choroidal nevu.
