Abstract :
Purpoe
To report two cae of acute exudative polymorphou vitelliform maculopathy.
Deign
Obervational cae report.
Method
Fluorecein angiography, optical coherence tomography, and electrophyiology were performed.
Reult
Both patient preented with udden onet of blurred viion and bilaterally ymmetric, central, and perimacular vitelliform leion. Perimacular leion were faintly hyperfluorecent early in the dieae, but there wa no abnormal fluorecence in the macular center. Optical coherence tomography revealed anterior diplacement of the photoreceptor layer by a hypereflective ubretinal layer overlying a hyporeflective pace above the retinal pigment epithelium–choriocapillari complex under all leion and no ubretinal fluid. The electrooculogram wa abnormal. Near complete reolution occurred over 4 to 8 month, with no improvement in the electrooculogram.
Concluion
Tranient multifocal vitelliform leion ugget a diagnoi of acute exudative polymorphou vitelliform maculopathy. Optical coherence tomography reveal characteritic anterior diplacement of the photoreceptor layer by a ubretinal hypereflective depoit imilar to that een in adult-onet foveomacular vitelliform dytrophy.
