Buphthalmo in the etting of peritent hyperplatic primary vitreou cataract

Purpoe To report a cae of unilateral peritent hyperplatic primary vitreou cataract preenting with ipilateral buphthalmo. Deign Retropective cae report. Method The patient chart wa reviewed, and a relevant literature earch wa performed. Reult A four-month-old child preented with peritent hyperplatic primary vitreou cataract in the right eye and ipilateral buphthalmo with no dicernable angle abnormalitie. He underwent lenectomy, anterior vitrectomy, and limited trancleral diode cyclodetruction in the right eye. Concluion Thi appear to be the firt report of buphthalmo preenting with unilateral peritent hyperplatic primary vitreou. Depite two comorbiditie, the patient ha thu far reponded well to initial treatment and viual rehabilitation.
