Exudative retinal detachment due to mall noncalcified retinal atrocytic hamartoma

Purpoe To report a cae of exudative retinal detachment due to mall noncalcified retinal atrocytic hamartoma and review pertinent literature. Deign Cae report and review of literature. Method Clinical examination, fluorecein angiography, optical coherence tomography, and laer treatment were performed. Reult Exudative macular detachment caued by a mall noncalcified retinal atrocytic hamartoma confirmed by optical coherence tomography regreed completely after laer therapy. Viual acuity improved only lightly becaue lamellar macular thinning developed after ubretinal fluid and macular exudate reolved. Concluion mall noncalcified, parafoveal retinal atrocytic hamartoma may caue macular retinal detachment. Optical coherence tomography may aid in the diagnoi of the tumor. Argon laer photocoagulation may induce tumor regreion and reolution of exudative detachment. Final viual acuity may be limited in ome cae.
