Preumed combined hamartoma of the retina and retinal pigment epithelium with preretinal neovacularization

Purpoe To decribe a cae of preumed combined hamartoma of the retina and retinal pigment epithelium aociated with preretinal neovacularization. Deign Obervational cae report. Method We report clinical and angiographic finding of a 26-year-old woman. Reult The patient preented with mild vitreou hemorrhage and lowly decreaing viion in the right eye. A combined hamartoma of the midperipheral retina and retinal pigment epithelium with an epiretinal membrane cauing traction to the macula wa found. Fluorecein angiography howed area of capillary nonperfuion and a large preretinal neovacularization peripheral to the hamartoma. Concluion A combined hamartoma may be aociated with retinal capillary nonperfuion and preretinal neovacularization, uggeting that ignificant retinal ichemia can occur with a combined hamartoma.
