Validation of tet duration a a creening criterion for frequency doubling perimetry

Purpoe To validate the tet duration in frequency doubling perimetry a an independent criterion to creen for glaucomatou field defect. Deign Propective cro-ectional tudy Method Group I included 85 eye (85 patient) with etablihed field defect on automated perimetry. Group II compried 41 normal eye (41 ubject). Both group underwent wedih interactive teting algorithm tandard tet a well a frequency doubling perimetry (C20-1). A cutoff level of 90 econd wa ued to calculate tet duration enitivity and pecificity. We alo categorized patient into thoe who took ≤90 econd or le and thoe who took >90 econd to complete the tet and compared frequency doubling perimetry (any two abnormal point) with wedih interactive teting algorithm in thee group. Reult Duration of the tet >90 econd had 97.5% pecificity with 62.3% enitivity. Eleven ubject with glaucoma completed tet in <91 econd). Concluion Tet duration alone ha a limited value in creening for glaucoma.
