Hypotonu maculopathy: magnetic reonance appearance

Purpoe To report the magnetic reonance appearance of hypotonu maculopathy. Deign Obervational cae report. Method A 48-year-old man with a long hitory of glaucoma and ubequent trabeculectomy in the right eye developed hypotonu maculopathy. Viual acuity continued to decreae in both eye of a relatively young individual with evere primary open angle glaucoma. A magnetic reonance image wa requeted to look for a compreive optic neuropathy. Reult Magnetic reonance imaging howed an abnormal plaquelike thickening of the macula and flattening of the poterior globe. Concluion To our knowledge, thi i the firt cae report of the magnetic reonance appearance of hypotonu maculopathy.
