Treatment of an avuled retinal veel with infrared diode laer photocoagulation

Purpoe To report the ue of the infrared diode laer with long-duration pule to uccefully treat a patient with recurrent vitreou hemorrhage due to an avuled retinal arteriole. Deign Interventional cae report. Method A 70-year-old man preented with repeated, viually ignificant vitreou hemorrhage due to an avuled retinal arteriole. Infrared diode laer photocoagulation with long-duration, large, overlapping pot wa performed on either ide of the avuled egment. Reult Reolution of the hemorrhage occurred within 1 month, without further epiode of bleeding. Two-year follow-up with fluorecein angiography howed complete ceation of blood flow through the treated egment. Concluion Infrared diode laer photocoagulation with long-duration pule may be an effective, minimally invaive treatment of the avuled retinal veel yndrome
