High-frequency ultraound of anterior egment retinoblatoma

Purpoe To evaluate anterior egment retinoblatoma with high-frequency ultraound. Deign Interventional cae report. Method An 11-year-old boy with a total retinal detachment and multiple white anterior chamber nodule wa examined with high-frequency ultraound before enucleation of the globe. Reult Multiple olid and cytic nodular tumor were found in the anterior chamber angle. With high-frequency ultraound, tumor wa dicovered poterior to the iri, over the ciliary procee, and on the len capule. No calcification were noted. Other finding included angle cloure related to iri neovacularization and uveal thickening. Concluion High-frequency ultraound can be ued to evaluate retinoblatoma extenion into the anterior egment. Thee image may be ued for comparion in future cae of retinoblatoma with anterior chamber invaion.
