Patient One patient diagnoed with diabetic retinopathy and ateroid hyaloi, who wa experiencing decreaed viual acuity and whoe fundu view wa inadequate for diagnoi uing cutomary technique. Reult Uual method of diagnoi were ineffective until OCT obtained a clear image of the fundu and ubequent macular thickening with vitreomacular adheion. Concluion Optical coherence tomography i an effective diagnotic tool for dicovering macular edema in cae of dene ateroid hyaloi where traditional method fail to obtain a clear image of the fundu.
