Bullʹ-Eye maculopathy econdary to herbal toxicity from uva uri

Purpoe To report a cae of bilateral bullʹ-eye maculopathy in a patient who ingeted uva uri, a known inhibitor of melanin ynthei, for 3 year before the onet of ymptom. Deign Obervational cae report. Method Both eye of a female patient were examined in the clinical practice etting. Reult A 56-year-old woman who ingeted uva uri for 3 year noted a decreae in viual acuity within the pat year. Ocular examination including fluorecein angiography revealed a typical bullʹ-eye maculopathy bilaterally. Concluion Uva uri i a known inhibitor of melanin ynthei. It i neceary to broaden the lit of potential retinal toxic drug to include herbal adjuvant uch a Uva Uri and to elicit a hitory of their ue in patient with unexplained ocular finding.
