Tranpupillary thermotherapy for ubfoveal neovacularization econdary to group 2A idiopathic juxtafoveolar telangiectai

Purpoe To evaluate the efficacy and afety of tranpupillary thermotherapy (TTT) for ubfoveal neovacularization (RNVM) in patient with group 2A Idiopathic Juxtafoveolar Telangiectai (IJFT). Deign Nonrandomized interventional cae erie. Method We performed TTT for ubfoveal RNVM in 14 eye of 13 patient with group 2A IJFT, who were referred to our tertiary care center. We evaluated viual outcome and RNVM cloure rate in thee patient. Reult After a mean follow-up period of 8.65 month, 92.3% of treated eye had tabilization or improvement in viual acuity a well a regreion of RNVM by fluorecein angiography (FA). One RNVM howed peritent leakage. One patient worened by more than 2 nellen line; one required retreatment. Concluion Tranpupillary thermotherapy may be a afe and ueful alternative treatment option for patient with group 2A IJFT with ubfoveal RNVM.
