Method The ue of radiofrequency to harvet a thin, bloodle conjunctival autograft i decribed. A retropective review of 171 primary pterygium procedure on 151 patient een between April 1998 and December 2001 wa done. All urgerie were performed by one urgeon (J.G.C.). All cae had a minimum follow-up of 12 month. Reult urgery wa completed uccefully with no complication in all 171 cae. Recurrence wa noted in only 8 cae (4.6%). Concluion The ue of radiofrequency to harvet a conjunctival autograft in pterygium urgery i effective and afe.
