Abstract :
Purpoe To report the morphologic data of adult-onet foveomacular vitelliform dytrophy (AFVD) provided by third-generation optical coherence tomography (OCT 3). Deign Obervational cae report. Method An 85-year-old woman preenting with AFVD underwent fundu biomicrocopy, fluorecein angiography, and OCT examination. Reult Fundu examination dicloed a round, elevated yellowih leion, centered by a pigmented pot, in the macula of the left eye. Examination with OCT dicloed an area of hyperreflectivity located between the retinal pigment epithelium layer and the photoreceptor layer, compatible in ize with the yellowih elevated leion. The hyperreflective line correponding to the photoreceptor layer wa elevated by the material and eparated from the retinal pigment epithelium layer. Concluion In AFVD, examination with OCT 3 demontrate elevation of the photoreceptor layer by the material and upport the previou hypothei that the material i located between the photoreceptor and the retinal pigment epithelium layer.
