Prevention of ligneou conjunctiviti by topical and ubconjunctival freh frozen plama

Purpoe To preent a cae of ligneou conjunctiviti where the recurrence of membranou conjunctiviti wa prevented by ubconjunctival and topical intillation of freh frozen plama. Deign Interventional cae report. Method A cae of ligneou conjunctiviti with multiple recurrence ince the age of 3 year developed recurrent membranou conjunctiviti after tranconjunctival levator receion. Blood plaminogen activity wa determined. The membrane wa excied, and the membrane reappeared 4 day later. The patient wa treated with exciion of the membrane and ubconjunctival injection of freh frozen plama and topical freh frozen plama. Plaminogen activity of the freh frozen plama wa normal. Reult Plaminogen blood functional activity wa 52% (normal i 80%–120%). The patient had complete remiion with no recurrence of membranou conjunctiviti after topical and ubconjunctival freh frozen plama. Concluion Prophylactic ue of topical and ubconjunctival freh frozen plama may help in the prevention of membrane in uceptible patient with plaminogen deficiency.
