Optical coherence tomography of bilateral poterior microphthalmo with papillomacular fold and novel feature of retinochii and dialyi

Purpoe To report a cae of retinochii and dialyi aociated with bilateral poterior microphthalmo and papillomacular fold. Deign Obervational cae erie. Method Complete ophthalmologic examination of three of five ibling preenting with bilateral poterior microphthalmo and papillomacular fold. Optical coherence tomography (OCT) data are preented to confirm the abnormal anatomy. Reult All ubject have bilateral elevated horizontal papillomacular retinal fold with cytoid macular edema and hallow ubretinal fluid. Optical coherence tomography wa conitent with our examination. One ubject, a 13-year-old Hipanic, initially preented with retinochii in the uperotemporal quadrant of the left retina that developed 9 year later into a retinal dialyi without ubretinal fluid. The right eye of thi ame patient developed retinochii in the far uperotemporal retinal periphery during 9 year of obervation. Concluion Retinochii and dialyi may occur in patient with poterior microphthalmo with papillomacular fold. Optical coherence tomography may be helpful in aeing thee patient.
