Abstract :
Purpoe
To report a cae in which obervation of increaed ocular pule amplitude (OPA) etimate in both eye lead to a diagnoi of, and wa preumably due to, aortic regurgitation.
Deign
Cae report.
Method
An incidental finding of high OPA etimate in both eye lead to a finding of widened arterial pule preure and aortic regurgitation. OPA etimate were taken after aortic valve urgery when arterial pule preure wa normal.
Reult
OPA etimate were 9 mm Hg in both eye when arterial pule preure wa high and 3 mm Hg in each eye when normal.
Concluion
Widened arterial pule preure may lead to increaed OPA.
