Intracameral triamcinolone help to viualize and remove the vitreou body in anterior chamber in cataract urgery

Aim To tudy the effect of intracameral injection of triamcinolone acetonide on viualizing and removing the vitreou body from the anterior chamber in cataract urgery. Deign Obervational cae erie. Method ix eye of ix patient had the poterior capule ruptured and the vitreou body prolaped or incarcerated into the anterior chamber during cataract urgery. To viualize vitreou body, triamcinolone acetonide olution wa injected into the anterior chamber and the vitreou body wa reected. The intraoperative finding, reult, and complication were evaluated. Reult Vitreou body wa well oberved under urgical microcopy and wa reected afely and completely. Minimum inflammation wa oberved potoperatively, and the patient obtained good viual acuity. No eriou complication were found. One eye howed increaed intraocular preure (40 mm Hg), which wa normalized by additional wahing of the anterior chamber. Concluion Appropriate ue of intracameral triamcinolone acetonide i beneficial to viualize and remove the vitreou body from the anterior chamber during cataract urgery, and ufficient wahing of the anterior chamber i neceary to avoid complication.
