Purpoe To report a cae of parganoi in the mucle layer of the eyelid. Deign Obervational cae report. Method A 67-year-old man with migratory painful welling on the eyelid that wa unreponive to medication wa evaluated and treated urgically. Reult Computed tomography howed a 1.5 × 1.5-cm ized, thick-walled leion and ultraound biomicrocopy howed hypoechoic tubular and cytic leion. During urgery, a white, thread-like plerocercoid, 7 cm in length wa detected in the orbiculari mucle of the lower eyelid. Hitopathologic examination demontrated the characteritic feature of the parganum larva and foreign body granulomatou reaction. erodiagnoi by enzyme-linked immunoorbent aay wa poitive. Three month potoperatively, the leion reolved completely. Concluion Although rare, parganoi hould be upected in a moving eyelid ma unreponive to the medical treatment.
