Purpoe To decribe an infrequent preentation of ocular tuberculoi. Deign Retropective obervational cae report. Method A 61-year-old woman preented with decreaed viion in her right eye and cytoid macular edema reitant to periocular corticoteroid treatment. There were no other finding. Reult Diagnoi of probable underlying tuberculoi uveiti with macular edema a the only ocular manifetation wa etablihed baed on a clinical hitory of poible tuberculoi during her infancy. Additionally, there were reidual finding in the patient’ chet x-ray, a poitive Mantoux reaction, and Mycobacterium tuberculoi in putum. pecific treatment wa implemented for nine month. Cytoid macular edema reolved completely, viual acuity improved (20/20), and no remiion occurred during two year of follow-up. Concluion In cae of idiopathic cytoid macular edema, tuberculoi hould be conidered a a potential caue. When treated, both are curable
