Purpoe To report and illutrate a modified and imple technique for ilicone oil removal from aphakic eye. Deign Interventional cae erie. Method Eighteen eye of 18 patient who once had par plana vitrectomy and lenectomy combined with ilicone oil tamponade underwent ilicone oil removal uing a elf-ealing corneal inciion. Reult All of the 18 ilicone oil removal procedure performed had clear corneal inciion, which did not require uturing. Concluion ilicone oil can be removed uccefully from aphakia uing the elf-ealing corneal inciion under local anetheia.
