Abstract :
Purpoe
To decribe a patient with claic ubfoveal choroidal neovacularization (CNV) aociated with choroidal nevu, which wa uccefully treated uing tranpupillary thermotherapy.
Deign
Interventional cae report.
Method
A 53-year-old woman underwent ophthalmologic evaluation, including fluorecein and indocyanine green angiography. Clinical and angiographic data were propectively analyzed to evaluate viual acuity change and angiographic evolution.
Reult
Three month after tranpupillary thermotherapy, viual acuity had improved from 20/100 to 20/40. Fluorecein and indocyanine green angiogram howed abence of leakage from CNV. Final viual acuity wa 20/32 after a 15-month follow-up.
Concluion
Tranpupillary thermotherapy may be a viable option for ubfoveal CNV aociated with CN, although further tudie are needed to etablih the correct etting.
