urgical management for premacular membrane in children

Purpoe To acce the efficacy of urgical treatment for premacular membrane in four children. Deign Interventional cae erie. Method Premacular membrane in four children were oberved. Initial viual acuity ranged from 0.08 to 0.4. The premacular membrane were approximately 1/3 PD to 4 PD in ize, and the center of them wa located at the fovea in all the patient. Vitreou urgerie were performed in all four patient. The membrane were removed uccefully without complication. Occluion therapy wa performed one month after the operation. Follow-up wa from 6 to 16 month (mean 8.3 month). Reult Viion eventually improved in all patient. Final viion acuity ranged from 0.2 to 1.0. Concluion Vitreou urgerie may be afe and effective in children with premacular membrance.
