Abstract :
Purpoe
To develop new micro vertical cior for the ablation of retinal angiomatou proliferation (RAP) to minimize poible retinal damage.
Deign
Interventional cae report.
Method
New micro vertical cior were developed and ued for the ablation of RAP veel.
Reult
The length of the inner ide of the tip i 180 μm, which i approximately one eventh that of regular vertical cior. The cior handled eaily and the RAP veel were ablated with le retinal damage compared with that aociated with ue of tandard vertical cior. Potoperatively, intraretinal hemorrhage wa reduced and hyperfluorecence een on indocyanine green angiography reolved.
Concluion
The new micro vertical cior developed for the ablation of RAP veel can be ued afely and effectively during thi urgical procedure.
