To decribe the ocular involvement in xanthoma dieminatum.
Deign
Cae report and literature review.
Method
Hitopathologic tudy of excied conjunctival tumor and clinical follow-up.
Reult
A 29-year-old woman with normal erum lipoprotein developed widepread xanthoma of the kin, throat, and epiclera. There were no ign of recurrence 12 month after removal of the conjunctival xanthoma.
Concluion
Xanthoma dieminatum i a rare condition for which there i no medical treatment. The ditinction between the normolipemic xanthomatoe await a better undertanding of their pathogenei. urgical removal of epicleral xanthoma can be ucceful, but long-term follow-up of uch patient ha been limited.
