Purpoe To report a novel technique in the management of ilicone intraocular len condenation after ga-fluid exchange. Deign Interventional cae report. Method Clinical management of an obtacle to treatment. etting: Private retina practice. patient population: One patient with ilicone poterior chamber intraocular len implant and poterior capulotomy who ubequently experienced complicated retinal detachment. intervention: Application of a heating pad to clear intraocular len condenation. main outcome meaure: Viibility of the fundu for laer treatment. Reult Application of a heating pad to the cloed eyelid ignificantly reduced the intraocular len condenation and provided a clear view for the urgeon to apply laer retinopexy. Concluion Treatment of retinal detachment i complicated by len condenation after ga-fluid exchange in patient who have undergone ilicone poterior chamber intraocular len implantation and poterior capulotomy. We report a imple, inexpenive, and effective method to reduce len condenation and enable in-office examination and laer treatment.
