The Ue of urgi Wrap in Delayed Adjutable trabimu urgery

Purpoe To determine the effect of urgi Wrap (MacroPore Biourgery, Inc, an Diego, California, UA) in delayed adjutable trabimu urgery. Deign An animal tudy. Method A propective, maked-oberver, controlled tudy wa performed in rabbit. Forty-eight eye of 24 rabbit were divided into two group. After receion of the uperior rectu mucle (RM), urgi Wrap wa applied beneath and over the RM in the urgi Wrap group, and no barrier wa applied in the control group. Delayed adjutment wa performed once on each uperior rectu mucle at 1, 2, and 3 week after urgery by a maked oberver. The poible length to adjut, the force required for the adjutment, and the degree of any adheion were alo evaluated. Reult In the control group, adjutment wa impoible in all of the five eye at 1, 2, and 3 potoperative week, repectively. In the urgi Wrap group, adjutment wa poible in four of 10 eye at 1 week after urgery, in two of 10 eye at 2 week after urgery, and in none of the 10 eye at 3 week after urgery. Concluion The ue of urgi Wrap could delay adjutment in ome of the eye up to 1 or 2 week after urgery. urgi Wrap could be helpful for hort-term delayed adjutment in rabbit eye.
